Kennedy Space Center

Our last week of summer vaca Todd & I realized we didn't "go" anywhere for a summer vacation. As a last ditch effort we decided to go to Kennedy Space Center. Jayden has been talking about a Rocket Ship birthday party for the last few months. We thought he would really enjoy seeing the real rocket ships. Except for the swarms of mosquitoes and lack of hands on things for three year olds to do we had a good time. Our nephew Austin joined us too.

Bowling + Putt putt + Ice cream for dinner = SUMMERTIME!

On Monday, Todd got home a little early and took us all to the Bowling alley. It was Bowl for a buck Monday. $1 bowl, $1 shoe rental, $1 putt-putt, $1 Hotdogs, $1 soda, $1 Laser tag! We indulged in 2 games of bowling, 2 pretzels (ironically $2 dollars each), a round of putt-putt and ice cream for dinner! I love being the parent!

3 1/2 year olds...

Jayden is testing our boundaries lately and can be very literal! When we ask him to do something (that he doesn't want to do) he begins by saying "But...". So we instilled a new "rule": NO "but's". So the other day he says to me: "Mom an um is not a but".
GREEEAAAATTTT!!!

60b) she has collected depression glass, particularly cream pitchers and sugar bowls,
60c) she twice let people in need live with her (us when we moved to Boca, and Angel)
60d) she's good at giving guys haircuts, especially shags from the 70's
60e) she was a devoted mother to a son named Ryan.

Thank you Aunt Linda

And for now, I'm a stay at home mom!

Today was my first officialy day of summer vaca. Getting two kids into a summer schedule is a bit different than our typical weekend days. Up at 6:30 (we need to work on that), breakfast, time with Jayden while Ryland was taking his morning nap, all to the gym (think you're in shape? Try...pilates), lunch for all, naps for two, a trip to the water fountains to end the day!
