A surrey on Saturday

Our last day in Orlando we had planned to go back to Magic Kingdom for a couple of hours. When we mentioned it to the boys, they immediately started negoitiating. Ryland wanted to go to the playground and Jayden wanted to rent one of the 4 person bikes (a surrey).
Hottie and I decided no way were we going to drag them to a park when they we already complaining! So we finished up breakfast, rented the bike, and then played at the playground until packing up an leaving.Now let.me.just.tell.you, that bike is no easy task. The rental guy warned us that there was some hills and he was not kidding. We only went around twice (Hottie didn't think I was even going to make it around the first time); there were times I was laughing so hard because I could hardly push the pedals going up hill.

After leaving, we had our first experience at IKEA. Oh.my.word!

Disney Trip: Magic Kingdom & Hollywood Studios

On Thursday evening, Hottie made it up just in time for us to head to the Magic Kingdom for the night parade and a few rides.

I know this is a terrible picture (of a picture) but you can get the jest of it. Needless to say, J & R were so-so about riding Splash Mountain at night! We made it back to the resort after midnight!

On Friday, we slept in until 8:30 (a first for this Soich crew)!, then headed to Hollywood Studios. Little did we know it was the opening weekend of Star Wars. So it was crazy crowded. We heard that George Lucas was even there! We of course made it to Buzz light year, the Indian Jones show, Rock n'Roll roller coaster (for Hottie and Jayden), and Disney Junior.

Diney Trip w/ the Dew & Baker Clan

I was so excited that the Dew Clan and Baker Clan were coming to Orlando for a wedding and then visiting Disney. The only thing that may have made it better, was if I only worked 2 days that week and the boys weren't missing 3 days of school; then we could have spent more time with them.
Wednesday night, we drove up to the resort. Had dinner and checked out the pool. It was freezing that night!On Thursday we got to meet up with them (5 adults and 4 kids) for breakfast, pool time,a boat ride to Downtown Disney, and lunch at T-Rex!

We just spent a few hours together but it was such a WONDERFUL time!

Spring Tball Season 2011

Spring Tball is over.

I guess I should be nostalgic, as this was their first and maybe last time they will be on the same team. However right now I'm relishing in the fact that we don't have Tball several times a week AND.EVERY.SATURDAY! Ahhh...what ever shall we do with all of our "free" time?!?!

I think Jayden will play Coach's pitch in the fall but we'll probably wait until next spring before putting Ryland in his second season of Tball. I have a feeling that my fall months won't be able to handle a newborn and two different baseball schedules!

I don't remember if I mentioned that not only were my boys on the same team, but their cousin Brandon (who is just a couple of weeks older than Ry) was also on the team!

Sea World's Aquatica

Several weeks ago, during the boys spring break we met Matt at Sea World's Aquatica for the day.Jayden and Matt could ride most of the slides while Ry and I hung out by the pool.

The kiddie area was also a big hit for both boys!So thankful for Matt's help!

I could not/would not have done it without him!
