Happy Memorial Day!
Thank you to all who have served, the families of those who have served, and the Americans who have supported those who have served! God bless us!

It's tough being a woman #7
It's tough being a woman who feels responsible for the "how".
"Great lives don't always seem great while we're living them. Seeking to be extraordinary isn't the answer because great lives are never achieved by making greatness the goal" -Beth Moore.

Ryland starts preschool.
Several weeks ago, Nani (Melissa), our home day care, told us she would be closing down. She has been our sitter, for several years (Jayden went to her), and she wanted to focus on expanding her family. Thankfully, she was willing to watch Ry until I found a new place for him.
Conveniently he turned two in the mean time and Jayden's school had an opening for him. We visited over spring break, to familiarize him with the place and teacher. So on Monday Ry-ry started "skool".
He did fine until I went to leave and then screamed and threw himself on the ground (oh the drama of terrible-two-tantrums). I knew he was in good hands but was worried that he was scared/confused.
By the time I got to work (and called) he had stopped.

Monday: before I left.

Tuesday: no crying just a quick forehead-for-a-kiss goodbye.
Wednesday: more crying screaming!
Thursday: still screaming...
