One man's trash is another boy's treasure!

I've been meaning, for a while, to document Jayden's creative/inventive side. He is always looking to 'make stuff' out of old boxes, paper, tape, rope, staples, etc. We've certainly made our share of "guitars" (tissue box, paper towel roll, rubber bands), paper airplanes, books (stapled together pictures), fishing poles, and other miscellaneous inventions.
Here are two of his latest creations:

I truly love his creative side and save tons of "stuff" just for this purpose but true confession time... most times it is very difficult for me to support him when he wants to construct something.
It seems like he wants to pursue his urge at the WORST.TIMES.EVER. He leaves an incredible mess of pieces of paper, tape, and cuttings EVERYWHERE. He uses SO MUCH tape its ridiculous. And it is so hard to have these creations just laying around the house FOR DAYS.
Whew, now that THAT is out in the open, I think his imagination is pretty cool!
And of course, what post could be about Jayden and not Ryland. Because I'm so logical, rational and all!
