6 Months old

Sleeping
Cooper is still sleeping from 7:30 pm to 5:30 am (work days, when I have to wake him up) or 6:30 am (school days, when I have to wake him up).   His naps in the morning around 11:00 and in the afternoon around 2:00.  He has almost completely dropped his evening cat nap which means we struggle to keep him up until 7:30!

Eating
We are still giving him Zantac (1.2 ml) twice a day.  He eats 6+ oz at 5:30/6:30, 9:00, 1:00, 5:00, and 7:30.  Rice cereal, actually anything rice has been a total bust!  After the ER visit on Christmas night, I tried it again (less than a teaspoon) in early January and again a couple hours later...vomiting!  The last and final incident was when he had a puff with Ms. Patti and AGAIN, a couple of hours later he vomited.  No more solids, of any kind, until we see the pediatric gastroenterologist.

Play
He is quite the mover!  He rolls around, scooches on his belly, and has even gotten up on his knees (rocky rocky).  He still loves his walker and has started to get coordinated enough to move in his desired direction, aka table cloth, cord hanging down in the bathroom, straps on Ryland's booster seat (you know very appropriate things!)

Other Stuff

• He is still in size 3 diapers
• Mostly 6-9 month outfits and a few 12 month things.
• He's Always looking around, reacting to noises, getting distracted!
• He drools ALL.THE.TIME and gives zerberts!  It's crazy how soaked his shirts can get in such a short amount of time.
• For a couple of weeks we thought he was going to be our only thumb sucker but now I'm not so sure.
• He still has a clogged tear duct in his left eye. I asked the pediatrician if I should be worried and she said not yet...it can take up to a year to correct itself.
• December to January was a busy month of firsts: First time meeting Grandma, Loretta, & Alan, First Christmas, AND First ER visit!
