Can you tell I was trying to avoid saying "lost"? To say it was a traumatic "loss"...is an understatement.
At least this one didn't cost the tooth fairy $81.41 ($80 for the dentist and $1.41-ONE dollar, ONE quarter, ONE dime, ONE nickel, and ONE penny). Although the adult tooth was growing in behind this one too!
I did find out from my friend in NY that the tooth fairy brings $10 for the first tooth, $5 for the second tooth and $2 for the remaining teeth in NY.
Where is the rule book for raising kids?
